No Kings 3 Expected To Be The Largest Mass Action In City History
No Kings Day 2, Jacksonville FL
Organizers across Jacksonville are calling on residents to join No Kings 3, a major citywide march and rally expected to become the largest mass action in Jacksonville’s history. Participants will gather the afternoon of Saturday, March 28 at Friendship Fountain before marching across the Main Street Bridge to a rally at the Duval County Courthouse.
Organizers are asking attendees to wear yellow in solidarity as thousands take to the streets in a unified display of community resistance. Organizers anticipate more than 15,000 attendees.
The afternoon schedule includes:
1:00 PM – Meet at Friendship Fountain (1015 Museum Circle)
1:15 PM – March begins, crossing the Main Street Bridge (approximately 1 mile through
downtown)
2:00 PM – Rally at the Duval County Courthouse (501 W. Adams Street)
The rally will feature speakers, music, and community voices, highlighting local organizers and grassroots leaders working every day to defend and support Jacksonville communities. Morning solidarity actions are also planned across the city and surrounding areas (Orange Park, Neptune Beach, Northside, Ponte Vedra, and more not listed on the website), with participants converging downtown for the central march and rally. Additional details and organizing information are available through Mobilize.us.
“What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny,” organizers said in a statement. “From small towns to city centers, communities across the country are standing up to defend democracy.”
Organizers say the moment demands collective action. “When our families are under attack and the rising cost of living is pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option,” the statement continues. “We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s inhumane and cruel acts.”
Participants are encouraged to bring signs, wear costumes, march alongside neighbors, and take part in a historic show of community power.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. Organizers ask all participants to act lawfully and help de-escalate any potential confrontations. Weapons of any kind should not be brought to the event.
About No Kings Day
No Kings is a peaceful national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration, which has continued to target immigrant families by profiling, arresting and detaining people without warrants; threatening to overtake elections; gutting health care, environmental protections, and education when families need them most; rigging voting districts to silence voters; ignoring mass shootings at our schools and houses of worship; and driving up the cost of living while handing out massive giveaways to billionaire allies—all as families struggle to pay for housing, health care and other basic necessities.
